Alex has a hands-on (i.e. subject matter expert) approach to successful systems selection, implementation management, departmental management and strategic reviews. Experience includes international programme management, designing business and organisational  transformation alongside technology transformation, matrix and remote team management and the ability to work effectively with technical and functional teams, senior stakeholders & manage 3rd parties. PRINCE2 and MSP experienced, ASAP and ISEB ITIL qualified, with experience of the introduction of best practice methods, tools and frameworks.

Alex has over 25 years experience in the professional services and consulting sectors. This includes 11 years at Linklaters where he was the Systems Development Manager until 2001, the Global Project Manager of the acclaimed SAP implementation in 2002/2003 and then the Head of SAP Consulting and Development until 2006.

Since forming Alblair Consulting, Alex has worked on various engagements ranging from project and programme management, interim departmental management and strategic consulting services for a number of UK, European and global firms. See Recent Engagements.
